We offer a variety of classes for children four years and older!
Classical Ballet & Pointe
Preschool and up
All ballet classes are based on a graded, classical Royal Academy of Dance ballet syllabus. Ballet serves as the foundation for every form of dance and develops coordination and sensitivity to music. Pointe work begins at approximately age eleven.

Tap
Second Grade and up
A “Broadway” style of tap is taught. Classes help students develop coordination and an excellent sense of rhythm.

Theatre Dance
First Grade and up
These classes focus on theatrical jazz dancing from musical comedy productions such as Annie, Peter Pan, and Grease. Age-appropriate hip-hop is incorporated into the Theatre Dance classes. 

Fusion Workshop
Fifth Grade and up
This class blends classical ballet and jazz technique with contemporary and modern dance. Students will explore movement with creative freedom and collaborate to create expressive performance pieces that speak to their individual dance experiences. This class regularly involves floor work in the tradition of lyrical and Modern dance.
Prior ballet, lyrical, and/or classical jazz training required.

Triple Threat
Kindergarten and First Grade
Triple Threat introduces dancers to the basic building blocks of tap, theater dance, and hip hop. This class is designed to help our younger students further develop body/space awareness and coordination.  Concurrent enrollment in ballet is strongly recommended.

Stretch and Strengthen
Ages 12 and up 
Open to the community! This class includes static and dynamic exercises to help increase core strength and stability to improve muscle tone, posture, and alignment. Light weights and resistance bands often are incorporated into easy-to-follow full-body workouts geared toward class fitness goals. Yoga mats are recommended for comfort, Adults and teens who are not enrolled at CRDA can attend by purchasing 5-class package.
